Macromedia User Group (Hong Kong)

I posted this thread at Flash questions but no response yet... so pls excuse me from post it again here.

I have created a Flash file (actually a side banner with text and graphic) and imported it to dreamweaver. I inserted the file to my web page but nothing appeared on my design page (procedure: insert>media>flash>select the flash file). I can view it perfectly with Flash preview but fail with IE.

I have the updated Flash Player installed and tried various setting. I duno what i did wrong. Pls help me ... couldn't find any tips from net or books. Gee tis is exhausting!! Tx in advance.

Actually a little progess is made but still not there yet!

1. Now I realize when I publish the Flash file, three files are saved, namely, swf (red), fla (grey), and a html (e). I guess I need to insert the "flash movie" file instead of the "flash document" file. Right?

2. When I click on the flash picture, the property displayed. At the property inspector, if I click the play botton, the flash picture appears on the design page. However, I still can't view it with IE; it just blank.

I must miss something. What will that be??? Plz help... I try very hard to get this done.

please make sure the path of flash object is correct. moreover, you may try to understand html, view the source code from other web site, then you should get the solution.

I have a Zaurus SL-C3000.

Using File >Open I get a folder list, but there does not seem to be any way to view files on my SD or CF cards. Am I missing something?
